We understand that your dogs and cats are cherished members of your family, which is why our dedicated team provides a safe, climate-controlled, and loving environment tailored to their unique needs. From spacious, scenic accommodations to attentive daily care, we go above and beyond to give your pet a joyful vacation and give you total peace of mind. Below you will find everything you need to know about our accommodations, medical requirements, and hours.
⏰ Drop-Off, Pick-Up, & Holiday Hours
Please review our scheduling and checkout policies below to help make your boarding experience seamless.
Regular Operating Hours
- Monday through Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Checkout & Billing Policy
- 10:00 a.m. Checkout Time: If you pick up your pet by 10:00 a.m., you will not be charged for that day.
- Late Pick-Up: Departures after 10:00 a.m. will be billed as a full boarding day to account for ongoing care and accommodation.
Holiday Hours
- Modified Hours (4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Pick-Up Only): New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
- Closed for Arrivals & Departures: Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. (No drop-offs or pick-ups are permitted on these days).
🐕 Premium Dog Boarding
Our dog boarding facility is designed to keep your pet active, safe, and comfortable throughout their entire stay.
Daily Exercise & Walking Schedule
To keep your dog entertained, standard boarding includes three complimentary leash walks every day:
- Morning Walk: Around 7:00 a.m. (5 minutes)
- Midday Walk: Between 10:00 a.m. and Noon (5–10 minutes)
- Evening Walk: Between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. (10 minutes)
Need extra steps for a high-energy pup? Additional walks are available for just $5 each.
Climate-Controlled Accommodations
Our facility features full climate control to ensure a perfect temperature year-round. To keep your dog cozy, every single kennel is furnished with a premium, supportive Kuranda bed to raise them up off the concrete flooring.

Free Departure Bath
Dogs staying with us for three days or more receive a FREE bath prior to discharge so they head home looking and smelling their best.

Our feline guests relax in a quiet, dedicated cat room completely separated from the dogs.
Condos with a View
- Garden Views: The cat room features a large picture window overlooking our peaceful outdoor garden.
- Modular Living: Each individual condo is a comfortable 2-foot square.
- Expandable Space: Built-in portholes allow us to open up adjacent units, expanding your cat's suite into a second condo above, below, or right next door for extra room to play and lounge.
🍽️ Nutrition, Diets, & Medical Requirements
We hold all our guests to high health standards to ensure the safety of every animal in our care.
Premium Diet & Nutrition
- Provided Dog Food: We serve high-quality Diamond Naturals dry, grain-free salmon & potato pet food twice daily at 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
- Provided Cat Food: We serve high-quality Diamond Naturals chicken-based dry cat food.
- Stress Management: If your pet experiences anxiety or a sensitive stomach, we may temporarily transition them to a bland, easily digestible, chicken-based diet.
- Special Dietary Needs: If your pet requires a specific diet (such as canned food or a prescription brand), please bring their food from home or purchase a bag directly from our on-site retail store.
Health, Safety, & Vaccine Requirements
Proof of current vaccinations and health checks must be provided prior to check-in:
- Dog Requirements: Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, and Influenza vaccines. An annual negative intestinal parasite exam is also required to prevent the transmission of parasites like Roundworms or Hookworms.
- Cat Requirements: Rabies and Distemper vaccines.

Enjoy total peace of mind knowing medical care is right next door. Through Runaway Farm Pet Hospital, your pet can conveniently receive routine veterinary services during their boarding stay, including vaccinations, spay or neuter surgeries, professional dental cleanings, and more.
📋 Before You Check-In: Client Checklist
Print this quick checklist to ensure you have everything ready for a smooth, stress-free check-in on drop-off day!
- Vaccination Records: Double-check that your pet's vaccines are current and that records have been sent to us (Dogs: Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, Influenza | Cats: Rabies, Distemper).
- Parasite Exam: Confirm your dog has had a negative intestinal parasite exam within the last 12 months.
- Special Food & Diets: Pack your pet's custom food or canned food if they are not eating our complimentary Diamond Naturals dry food.
- Medications & Instructions: Gather any necessary medications your pet needs, ensuring clear veterinary dosage instructions are included.
- Hospital Services Scheduled: If you would like your pet to receive a dental cleaning, spay/neuter, or vaccines at Runaway Farm Pet Hospital during their stay, let our front desk know so we can coordinate the calendar.
- Check the Clock: Plan your drop-off within our regular hours, and remember that picking up before 10:00 a.m. on departure day saves you from being billed for that final day!
