Dog Boarding
When your dog spends the night at Creature Comforts at Runaway Farm, he/she is leash walked three times a day for exercise and entertainment. Their first walk is around 7 a.m. for 5 minutes, second walk is between 10 a.m. and Noon for 5-10 minutes, and their third walk is between 4 and 7 p.m. for 10 minutes. Additional walking is available for $5 per walk.
Our kennels and cages are climate controlled and each kennel is furnished with a Kuranda bed for your dog to sleep on and to raise him/her off of the concrete flooring.

At feeding time, 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., we provide Diamond Naturals brand pet food; a dry chicken, lamb, or grain-free salmon & potato pet food.
In stressful situations, we may feed a bland diet which is chicken based and more easily digested. If your dog is on a special diet or does not easily adapt to a diet change you must bring your own food or purchase a bag in our retail store.
A bath is given FREE of charge prior to discharge with a stay of two days or more.
The following vaccines are required and must be current prior to check-in for the health and safety of all dog boarding: Rabies, Distemper, Bordatella, and Influenza.
An intestinal parasite exam with negative results is also required annually to protect your pet from coming in contact with and contracting Roundworms, Hookworms, or other parasites that are easily transmitted just by walking and sniffing where other dogs have walked.
Veterinary services are also available during your pet's stay through Runaway Farm Pet Hospital such as vaccinations, spay or neuter, dental cleaning, and more.
The daily fee is based on kennel size. The following kennel sizes are available:
Small Run (3'x4'), Medium Run (3'x5'), Large Run (3'x8'), X-Large Run (3'x12'), Small Double (5'x5'), Medium Double (5'x8'), Large Double (4'x12') and various size stainless steel cages for small dogs under 30 lbs. Rates are available through online reservation or by calling 215.679.6219.
